Hello my name is Denise! I have been a makeup artist for 15 years. I worked as an artist for M.A.C Cosmetics for 12 years and 1 year with Dior beauty. I specialize in luxury bridal makeup and my years of experience have taught me to work with every skin tone, face shape and eye shape. I am also a traveling artist that’s does hair and provides white glove service so I make things as convenient and stress free as possible. Denise Look no further. Choose Denise. I couldn’t have dreamed for a better experience in every way when I went with Denise to do my wedding make up trial and lesson. She was very responsive and adaptive from the very start, and offered exactly what I needed. She made a long commute to come over to my place where she spent hours teaching me every technique for every part of my make up routine with so much patience, knowledge and passion. It was so wonderful to spend the day with her as she transformed my face into the perfect soft glam look I was going for. She taught me so much about make up, skin routine, products and techniques. She was kind and fun and easy going and she is extremely talented and knowledgeable and has a ton of experience in all things face , skin and beauty. I truly LOVED the way she did my make up, and every step of the way she made sure I was happy with how things were looking and gave me guidance to create the look I was going for. It’s hard to know what you will get when you find someone online and I’m so so lucky and greatful I found Denise! She even went above and beyond helping me pick products after from the various stores and helped me create my eye shadow palette. I loved how I looked and the make up she used lasted for forever and looked perfect hours and hours later ! She only used amazing quality products. I was searching for a makeup artist on Google and came across Thumbtack. While reviewing a few artists’ bios, Denise immediately stood out. Based on her years of experience, I knew right away that I wanted her to do my makeup. From the start, she was very communicative—she asked questions, I gave her my answers. Denise arrived at my apartment on time, fully prepared with everything she needed. Right off the bat, she was warm, kind, and very professional. When she finished my makeup, all I could say was, “Oh my God—you did your thing!” I absolutely loved it. It was fire 🔥—so much so that I asked her if she offers one-on-one or group makeup lessons because I want to learn how to achieve results like hers. I do my own makeup, but it doesn’t compare to the outcome Denise gave me. We had great conversation, and what a small world—she even knows some of my family! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on my level of artistry and experience. I also use all high end makeup like Chanel , Dior, M.A.C, Armani, hourglass charlotte tilbury and many more. Having an artist come to your location is a luxury experience and you have the peace of mind knowing you will be happy with your results.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask for pictures inspo pictures so I can have a better idea of what the client is looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been an artist for 16 years and worked for MAC for 10 years and Dior 1 year. I have been certified by MAC for all types of training including highlight and contouring. There are so many other like tattoo and pigmentation cover up. The list goes on. Working at MAC you do makeup for every skin shade, eye shape and ethnicity everyday! The amount of experience I have is endless.
