FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When there are more than one person needing help I will discount the hourly rate. When I travel to you I charge $10/hr to cover my gas costs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first evaluate using any tests recently done as well as my own tests and talk with the student and parents about their concerns. I constantly check for understanding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides having a current teaching credential, I also have a civil engineering degree and practical experience in using math in the non academic world. I also have picked up over the years some “tricks “ to make calculations and understanding easier to understand. I keep it simple, but precise.
