I’ve been in the beauty industry for about 8 years now.
I freelance for myself and have worked with companies such as Estée Lauder Companies, Benefit Cosmetics, and Smashbox Cosmetics.
I focus on quality, and customer service. I always want to make sure that every client is happy with my work. It’s a collaboration with my clients canvas and my vision on enhancing features. Ferlayne has a niche for making her client feel beautiful inside and out. I hired her for my hair and makeup and received a lot of compliments during my engagement shoot.
During the pretrial and engagement shoots, Ferlayne was very thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable. She is very knowledgeable in her field and provided tips/explained her makeup process. I had a great time working with her and am grateful for her flexibility to the date changes due to COVID-19 and wildfires in North Bay.

Ferlayne is amazing to say the least. This was my first time booking for a hair and makeup artist and she made my first time experience such a great one! I had a wedding to attend and when I found her here I went on her Instagram page to see her work. Once I saw her work I knew I had to have her glam me up! I was so happy that she responded back and had the availability when I found her last minute. She is professional and such a sweetheart! The fact that she was able to come to me makes the whole experience that much better. I asked for her neutral glam look that she had done on some of her clients and I could not believe who I saw in the mirror when she was done because it sure was not me! Lol! I absolutely looooved it. I was OBSESSED! Highly recommend her and I’m definitely booking her again in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take pride that the quality of my work is high. I take my time and I’m very passionate about what I do. My pricing is reasonable. I do usually do group promos/deals.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I assure that my client is comfortable with me. I formally introduce myself, hoping to bring positive vibes. I ask questions regarding about skin type, allergies, preference, etc. Confirming that I get exactly what the client wants to achieve. Discussing the process and the importance of sanitation. Lastly, I make sure my client is happy with the finished look.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Makeup artisty through Blush School of Makeup. Trained with Esteè Lauder, Smashbox Cosmetics, and Benefit Cosmetics.
