Kevin J. says, "UPDATED - The company reached out to me wanting to make things right for the negative experience. The technician came back about 30 mins later and proceeded to work on fixing the lights. After almost 8 hours of work, it was midnight and I had to ask the technician to leave so that I could sleep. Ultimately, the lights now work with a normal switch but the smart switch dimmer lights (Caseta by Lutron) I originally installed do not work. I do appreciate the company reaching back out to try and make things right and for the tech staying after hours to try and fix the problem. Overall, their professionalism is admirable, I do believe the miscommunication and language barrier did contribute a lot to the original overall experience. BE CAREFUL - When I originally reached out, I was told that the diagnostics and service call would be free and that I would only pay if I went with them for the job. I was having some issues with our 3 way switches. The technician was prompt and nice. This was basically the only pro. When he arrived, I explained the issue and the other things I've already tried to trouble shoot. There was a language barrier so we were using Google translate About 10 mins of tinkering with the lights, the lights worked. however, only 2/3 switches would turn on the lights. So I was surprised. One of the switches was still not working. Next thing I know, the technician is telling me to pay $350 and I was taken aback because I was under the impression this would be a diagnostics call. Then because of the language barrier, he puts me on the phone with his operator. The operator tells me that its actually $595. I was taken aback and told my technician, I was told this was a FREE service call and that I would be provided an estimate and IF I chose to move forward then I would pay after I approve the estimate. I told the operator the same thing. I dont even know what he did/fixed or even what the issue was. An estimate would provide me with not only the cost but also an understanding of what is wrong with the switches. I told the operator - I would feel comfortable paying for a service if I knew what was done to fix it and why you charged me that amount. However, to lure me in with a "free diagnostic" and then 10 mins later tell me it will cost $350 is a scam. I even told him, I dont mind paying if you were transparent about your pricing. If you charge for a service call, tell me. However, I dont feel comfortable paying for a service I didnt agree to and not to mention I dont even know what was done to fix the issue. Ultimately, I asked them to change everything back to when it was not working and that I would go with someone else. He tried to negotiate and offer $110 for the fix but even then I didnt feel comfortable because I dont know what work was done - there was no diagnostics... and now it almost felt like they were just trying to get something over nothing. I refused and he ultimately left and changed everything back to when it was not working. It was a huge waste of time for both parties because of deceptive sales techniques."See more

Chris M. says, "Cesar and his team upgraded my electric panel to 200 Amps, rewired almost all of my house, and addressed all safety concerns that were raised in the inspection report that I received when I purchased the house. I went into the project unsure whether our budget would be enough to cover much beyond the worst safety concerns and maybe a new panel. For many electricians who we looked into, that seemed to be the most likely scenario. But Cesar's stood out for his willingness to work with our budget while also being committed to only taking in projects where he knew he could do the job right with best practices. This made our decision a no-brainer. Not only did he deliver on all of the electrical work but he clearly went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the process and the result. He restored power to the house for each night of the work. He anticipated "best practice" items and included them in his cost estimates even though we forgot to mention them at the start (like installing new wired smoke detectors). He took care of the permitting process for the new electric panel, going above and beyond to ensure that there would be no notes from the inspector to hinder the process. He even brought in his brother to stucco over the holes that he had to make in our exterior walls, who did an impressive job of matching the stucco texture to the rest of the house. We would highly recommend Cesar to anyone who is trying to get electric work done well and especially if they are working within budget constraints. We will certainly be using his services for any new major appliances we install in the future."See more
