Nina has an excellent customer service. I never met her, I just spoke with her over the phone a couple of times and we emailed each other several times afterwards, She always respond so promptly and was very helpful and informative to all the questions that we needed to know about buying a house. Unfortunately, we decided not to move in Ontario, so we couldn't do business with her. However, my husband and I were very impressed and wished that all the realtors has an honest and professional courtesy like her.

Don't let his age fool you! Ezio is an expert at what he does. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients needs are met. My family and I had the pleasure of working with him after a fall out we had with another agent who was highly recommend, continuously bragged about his 30+ years of experience BUT clearly was not up to date with the system (waste of 6 months and thousands of dollars). Anyhow, we are extremely happy to have found Ezio. His level of professionalism is OUTSTANDING. He is always available, bilingual (Spanish), reliable, responsible, and transparent (essential in a world filled with fraud). AMAZING for any first time buyers or any type of buyer. He has the right connections. Thank you Ezio! We are confident you will achieve greatness. We hope to keep working with you in future purchases.

My husband and I were looking for a home for quite a while and didn't like the realtors we were working with as we didn't find them to be involved to help us like we wanted. Lisa was referred by a friend who was also looking for a home also. She gave us her thoughts and insights on the property, the pros and cons and helped us make a reasonable offer. We were ready to offer almost $30,000 over, but Lisa said it's too high and not necessary and we can offer a lower amount. And she was right :) We saved a lot of money because of Lisa. She is honest, knowledgeable and reliable. We highly recommend Lisa.

Manny is amazing! We have never sold a house prior to this. On top of that, we were buying another in the state of Washington. I was on overload, but Manny was more than a realtor, he was a friend that held my hand and helped me through the process. Any questions or concerns I had, on either house, he helped and got me the answers I needed. He was so easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much and miss you already!

I was really impressed by Chris's services. She is unlike other realtors and goes the extra mile . I would give her 10 stars if I could because she truly deserves it. I was on the hunt for investment properties and she listened intently on my needs and goals and she was able to deliver. You can tell she is service driven and works hard for her clients. She is extremely knowledgable and her analytical skills really helped me in with my decisions. She made the whole process very enjoyable and I knew she had my best interest. She extended her network of contractors and vendors who were all excellent to help with some minor repairs and replacements. I am grateful for all her help and guidance through the buying process.

You cannot find more honest, dedicated and attentive realtors, ANYWHERE!!! These folks are the top of the tops…better than any other realtors I’ve ever dealt with. If anyone–my friends and/or visitors alike–stumble, find, follow this page and you’re considering anything related to the housing industry (buy, sell, shortsale), do not hesitate to use these people. I did and I will never use another realtor until they retire. In addition, for those that don’t know, I am a retired police officer and I value integrity and honesty above all. This may seem or appear to be overly gloating of these folks; however, it’s all heart-felt and true. You need realtors…look no further!!!

# brian edwards reviews If you need a realtor in the Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Inland Empire or anywhere else in Southern California - Brian Edwards should be your first choice. My wife and I moved our family (us and two young kids under three) from Chicago to California a month ago. I flew into Ontario, CA on a weekend in the beginning of March and had only two days to find the perfect house for an April 1st move in. Not an easy task, but thanks to Brian I signed a lease by the time I was on a plane back to Chicago. Brian is a true professional. While in Chicago before my house hunting trip, he worked with me over the phone and understood what my family needed. During our house visits, he made sure I found the right house, and sent me new listings right up to the last minute - making sure I was happy with our new home. He’s an incredible resource, with a wealth of knowledge - but he didn’t stop there… After we signed the lease, Brian followed up multiple times since we’ve moved in - helping us make sure everything is just right. We’re renting right now, but in the next few years we’ll be looking to buy a house. And when that time comes, it’s good to know I’ve got my realtor - Brian Edwards.

      About

I love my community and the people that make it great. I want to see them thriving and my small contribution to that end involves real estate. No home purchase or sale is too small or too complicated, and no one deserves to walk into one of the biggest investments of their life without an expert at their side.

      About

If you are looking for an experienced real estate professional who has experience with both buyers and sellers, then you are on the right path, and your visit to my website is the first and only step you will need to make! My ability to maintain flexibility, keep myself informed and educated during the changing real estate market has earned me a reputation as one of the best realtors to go to for short sales! I have represented numerous sellers in the sale of their property, through the short sale process, and negotiated each sale directly with the lender, without the help of a middle company. My negotiating skills have helped me close each and every one of my short sale listings! I enjoy helping my sellers rid themselves of high principal balances, which in turn allows them to get started on the road toward credit recovery and provide them the opportunity to become homeowners again, in the near future. I have helped a vast majority of buyers achieve their dream of home ownership and provided the guidance necessary to make the escrow process one that is painless and easy to comprehend. Most buyers find buying a home to be a stressful experience. Having a knowledgeable agent represent you on one of the biggest and most important purchases of your life gives you real peace of mind.

      Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What does a real estate agent do?

Real estate agents help their clients buy, sell, and rent commercial and residential properties. There are also real estate agents that sell industrial and agricultural real estate, but the majority sell residential properties. To become a real estate agent, you must be at least 18 years old, successfully complete real estate courses, and pass a real estate exam. Be sure to check for any required licensing, too. Often real estate agents will earn 5 percent to 6 percent of the total home sale price for their work in representing their client. Typically this commission is split equally between the buyer’s agent and the seller’s agent. Here is an overview of what a real estate agent does, according to the United States Department of Labor:

      • Represent clients who are looking to buy, sell and rent properties.
      • Stay knowledgeable about regional real estate prices, mortgages, market conditions and related information, and advise clients accordingly.
      • Determine competitive market prices by comparing properties.
      • Create and publicize lists of properties for sale, including details such as location and features.
      • Market properties through advertisements, open houses and listing services.
      • Show prospective buyers or renters properties.
      • Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.
      • Mediate negotiations between buyer and seller.
      • Ensure that all terms of purchase contracts are met.
      • Prepare documents, such as loyalty contracts, purchase agreements and deeds.

What's the difference between a real estate broker and an agent?

Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, real estate brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Real estate agents cannot have their own real estate office and must work under a broker. Real estate brokers often have real estate firms and employ real estate agents. Those real estate agents may be employees of the firm, or they may work on contract and earn part of any commission they bring into the firm.

If you are a homeowner ready to sell or a buyer in the market for a new home, either a real estate broker or a real estate agent can help you achieve your goal. What is more important than their title is their track record and client success stories. When interviewing real estate agents or brokers to help you buy or sell a home, ask about their recent sales history as compared with the original listing prices. If you’re selling a home, ask how they would market your home and what price they would list it at. Whether you hire an agent or broker, you want a professional who will have your best interests at heart.

What should you look for in a real estate agent?

When you’re hiring a real estate agent you want to find a qualified pro who can negotiate the best deal for your home — whether you’re buying or selling. Reading reviews will help you weed out obvious bad operators; you want to work with someone who treats their clients with fairness and respect. That said, you also want someone who can play hardball and maximize your real estate deal. Ask for references from recent clients, and be sure to call them.

Experts encourage you to interview more than one prospective real estate agent before hiring. A home sale or home purchase is a big deal — sometimes the biggest deal in a person’s life — and you want to find an agent who will work hard for you. In today’s market, having a real estate agent who is social media savvy and has an attractive online presence is critical. Ask the agent how they plan to market your house. Review their listings, and ask yourself if they have professional photos with homes that are professionally staged. If the answer is no, they might not have the marketing savvy you’re looking for. Ask what price they would list your house at and why. Pay attention to how they communicate with you during your initial interviewing phase. Are they too busy to respond for several days? Are they clear and helpful? This information is a clue to how they’ll engage during the entire process.

What do real estate agents charge?

Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale. If you are a home seller, you may have fees associated with the sale that are above and beyond the commission the agents earn. The real estate agent may have you pay marketing fees, MLS fees, early cancellation fees, or more. Always ask pricing details before signing a contract so you clearly understand your financial obligations. Here are some of the average (and common) costs that can arise when selling a home:

      • Home inspection: $200-$350 or more, depending on region.
      • Home appraisal: $250-$400 or more, depending on region.
      • Professional real estate photography: $275-$550 or more, depending on photographer, square footage of house, and special requests like sunset shots.
      • Closing costs: Often split between the seller and buyer. An average range for the buyer to pay is between 3 percent and 4 percent, with the seller paying a lower fee at 1 percent to 3 percent of the home’s price.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
