I found Paul through the Thumbtack app after struggling to find an attorney within my budget. Every other attorney I contacted wanted a minimum of $2,000 or more, and that didn’t even include filing fees or required online courses.
From the very beginning, Paul stood out. He was extremely communicative by phone, email, and text, and always kept me up to date on all legal information, important dates, deadlines, and next steps. He explained everything clearly and in a way we could actually understand — no confusing courtroom jargon or legal verbiage, just straightforward and honest communication.
One of the biggest things Paul gave us was peace of mind. At the time we hired him, we were dealing with well over $125,000 in non-secured debt, and the stress had become completely overwhelming and unmanageable. We do not own a home, we rent an apartment, and we have one vehicle that we were able to keep and did not have to include in the case. Paul helped us understand our situation clearly and guided us through every decision with calm, confidence, and reassurance.
Paul was very transparent and extremely reasonable with his pricing, and he never once pressured me about payment or timelines. He made us feel comfortable from day one. Honestly, the only thing I wish is that we had found him sooner. The stress and anxiety we carried for far longer than we should have could have been avoided if we had connected with him earlier.
