Paul is a great teacher. He is so patient with me in class. He makes changes to the class on how I am making progress. I have two kids, small toddlers, and he is patient with me when they run into the class and disturb.
When it comes to actual class and homework, he is very strict. He makes sure you are studying and does not want to finish class just because its easy for him. He will cancel class if the homework is done. He will not count towards the contract.
He gives honest opinion and helps me. You can see this review to see how much I improved.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with a free comprehensive placement test and needs analysis. This assessment helps me determine your current English proficiency across all skill areas (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and understand your specific goals. Based on these results, I create a personalized learning plan that outlines what we'll cover and approximately how long it will take to reach your objectives. We then schedule regular one-on-one online sessions at times convenient for you. Each lesson builds on previous material while addressing your specific challenges. I provide all necessary learning materials through my online platform and assign targeted homework to reinforce concepts between sessions. Throughout our work together, I track your progress and adjust the learning plan as needed to ensure efficient advancement toward your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My qualification for teaching English stems from both formal training and personal experience. I received specialized instruction in curriculum design and adult education during my military service. While I was within three semesters of completing my education degree, my career took me in different directions that ultimately enhanced my teaching abilities. Having learned Spanish as an adult while working in South America, I intimately understand the challenges of acquiring a new language later in life. This experience gives me unique insight and empathy for adult language learners. My professional background includes six years designing training programs for NASA and three years developing curriculum for the US Navy. These positions honed my ability to create clear, structured learning experiences that produce measurable results. This combination of formal training, personal language learning experience, and professional curriculum development makes me particularly effective at helping adult ESL students achieve their goals.
