I learned a lot about the basic guitar lessons. Now I can read notes, understand the fretboard and the proper strumming.Aug 27, 2019Verified
I've had a few lessons with Chris so far, and I really appreciate his teaching style, along with his experience and professionalism. I will continue to take lessons with Chris and would recommend him to anyone searching for a great guitar teacher.Apr 3, 2019VerifiedGuitar with Chris's reply
Thank you Cameron!
Chris is absolutely amazing!! Before the first lesson, Chris was there to answer any questions, explain what to expect and made us feel my son was his number one priority. During lessons, he is so passionate and genuine about what he's teaching, you can tell he is truly a master of his craft. After lessons, he immediately follows up to see if the student is comfortable with what was learned. Chris is always readily available if there is a question about anything and willing to give extra help if needed. He gave our son a passion about learning guitar we never expected. We were truly blessed to find such a talented and devoted teacher. We absolutely would not want any one else to teach our son. I would and will always recommend Chris, hands down, no one could be better!!Aug 24, 2019Verified
Chris started working with my daughter about two weeks ago. My daughter had never played guitar before and was struggling with the basics in her beginning guitar class at school (she has Asperger Syndrome and struggles with sensory issues and basic coordination). From our first communications, I could tell he was going to be a good fit. He asked a million questions and spent a lot of time communicating with me before he even showed up to my front door. Once he got to the first lesson, he was totally prepared. The hour was money well spent and I immediately booked him on a weekly basis. He is probably one of the most positive, supportive, compassionate people that I have ever met and, he has the patience of a saint! He spent an extra half hour, at no charge, teaching my daughter how to restring her guitar after their lesson was over (he even offered to pick the stings up for me the week before - now that’s customer service!). This man really loves what he does and it shows. He is a talented teacher/musician and if you are lucky enough to pick up an hour lesson with him, you will not be disappointed! He. Is. Awesome.Oct 15, 2018Verified
Chris is such a patient and creative guitar teacher. My daughter is a bit of a drama queen and perfectionist and Chris is so calm and affable it puts her at total ease. She looks forward to going to lessons as he picks songs she knows and likes to have her play, gives her good, creative, and well-thought out assignments, and makes the whole process fun. He is super personable and talented, on time, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.Dec 11, 2019Guitar with Chris's reply
Thank you, Jennifer!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices are negotiable. Ultimately, if you have your own guitar the prices are lower. If you don't and you borrow mine, then the price goes up a little more. Not because I'm greedy but because I have to care for the guitar
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Hopefully I'll have an understanding of where the customer is in their guitar playing. Once I know that I can set up a lesson plan based on their wants.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been playing for 30 years. I've been in many bands and have toured the US and Europe. I know how to read guitar tab
