- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I examine their current website and social media presence. I brainstorm ideas on what I think they could be doing better, then I asses their specific brand and company goals and usually ask for a current budget or idea on how much they're looking to invest in their website or social media profiles. After that is discussed I can put together a specific proposal for what can be accomplished under all of those above mentioned areas and get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations, a Social Marketing Certificate through HootSuite and 2 years of work experience in the digital marketing field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started interning at a boutique public relations agency while I was still in school and was looking for a different type of agency experience after graduation when I found an internship with a start-up digital marketing company that focuses on organic and local SEO. There is where I learned everything I know about digital marketing and was able to hone in on my content creation abilities as well as create and implement social media strategies that created massive success for a number of different clients in an array of different industries. That is really where I discovered my passion for helping businesses grow and hone in on their presence online.
