I was scrambling for a last minute Bartender for my Partner’s 40th Surprise Birthday. I had never used Thumbtack and stumbled into it through an online search. I described my needs and moments later received a message from Sarah with Velvet Bar Fox. She quickly let me know that she was already booked for Saturday night, but that her Partner (Argenis) was able to make it happen! I arrived with the birthday girl, so was not present for Argenis’ arrival, but I understand that he was right on time, very professional, and helpful with all the setup. I arrived to a beautifully set, well organized bar, happy guests, extremely happy host, and a professional greeting. He even made me a nice mocktail as I no longer imbibe myself. Argenis made the night run smoothly, kept things light, fun, and even put up with some ridiculous karaoke. Many guests commented on his professional demeanor and great service. 10/10 would definitely use Velvet Bar Fox for my future events!

I hired a bartender from The Velvet Fox for my father's 70th birthday luau last month and they were worth every penny! Our bartender was professional, quick, super friendly, and he made the signature cocktails I chose taste AMAZING! He helped make my father's party the talk of the town! If I didn't live out of state I would already have him booked for my holiday party. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

We absolutely loved our gal, Sarah, from Vevet Fox who communicated well, was timely, professional, and provided an aweome bartender experience! Her drnks and suggestions were DELICIOUS and all our guest were so happyand very pleased with the drinks, too (including the kids)! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
bartender starting price $300 Travel fee may apply. If you are beyond orange county or LA county the services you need must exceed $500 for it to be worth taking on for us. (San Diego, santa barbara etc..)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Build your own package. Each service has a cost. We go over exactly what you need and you can easily book in my system. After booking we will help you with menu and a shopping list if you need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
RBS certified, So Cal Bartending school graduate, Liquor liability Insured, 10 years in CA nightclub industry, restaurant experience.
