Hi, I’m chef Jarryd of Tableside Private Dining. I have a culinary arts degree and 10 years experience in the restaurant industry. I’ve always had a passion for food and seeing how it can bring people together and Tableside let’s me do that in a more intimate setting. Our concept is bringing the restaurant to the comfort and privacy of your own home. We take care of everything- from setting up the table and ambiance beforehand to all of the clean up afterwards, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your company.

I do not think I could say enough about our experience. Not only was the food INCREDIBLE! From appetizer to main meal (DO yourself a favor and have him make the mussels and poke cups for you! ). His energy was perfect as well, very kind, always checking in and insuring everyone had what they needed. THey even left the kitchen more spotless then when they entered it. THank you for an incredible dinner for me and my close friends!

An absolutely amazing evening from start to finish. He even brought printed menus and flowers and candles and left the kitchen spotless. The bursting charcuterie board started the night followed by steamed clams and mussels, arugula salad, halibut and so much more and ended with pumpkin creme brulee. I can't wait to have him back again for my next event :) It was the best birthday dinner experience ever :)

Thank you Chef Jarryd and team! My whole family (19 of us ages 12-83) was completely blown away with how amazing the night was. The food was delicious and appreciate Chef Jarryd working with me to provide a selection of courses that all of my family members loved as well as working with us in regards to allergies (shellfish, treenuts and dairy). Also the table decor was gorgeous and not having to do one dish from set up to clean up was one of the best things about this whole night! Definitely highly recommended as well as looking forward to planning a future event with Chef Jarryd again! From initial call to end of the evening Chef Jarryd was extremely responsive with communication too. Thank you!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We start our three course meals at $80+ per person depending on menu and amount of courses.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to create a menu "with" the client and with the clients vision in mind. We take care of everything from the table setting to cleaning and sanitizing your kitchen afterwards. With Tableside we want our customers to feel completely stress free and able to enjoy the event that they are hosting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone to culinary school in Buenos Aires, Argentina and have worked in San Diego for over 10 years in the restaurant industry. After working in such high volume restaurants for so long I felt I started to lose that connection to the customer which made we want to start Tableside. I have a passion for serving people great food and creating that restaurant feel to the comfort of your own home.
