I met Aaron 5 years ago when I started training to compete in amateur kickboxing and Muay Thai. Over the years he has helped me train for fights as well as mentoring me as a trainer, still offering advice to this day. He is a unique and inspiring person and a true martial artist.

I had been exercising for about a year now by myself but decided to hire a trainer. I've been working out with Vinny for two months now and my body has changed more in the past two months than in the past year. Vinny has taught me from basics: how to breathe correctly during my exercises, proper posture, how to target and isolate certain muscles.. to kickboxing and self defense. Vinny is the type of trainer that will go the extra mile and help you achieve your goals. I def recommend him.
I've been training with Martin for about two months now. I have about a year background in martial arts. I really enjoy all of the different mixed martial arts he's been teaching me. Not only are they fun, but everything he teaches I believe is highly effective during a confrintation on the streets. The combination of kickboxing, Lima lama, and Kung fu, and other martial arts equips one for the many different scenarios that may take place during a street fight. He breaks everything down in complete detail, step by step. I highly recommend Martin if you are interested in self defense.

Marcus has been my trainer for almost 4 yrs. My initial goal with him was to learn kickboxing as a beginner. During this journey, Marcus has taken me beyond any goals or aspirations I had imagined. He has expanded my learning from just kickboxing techniques to cardio and strength training. I am not a fighter; I take kickboxing lessons to learn something new. I really enjoyed kickboxing with Andrew. It was tough but I lost so much weight and toned every muscle. It was great.
Bobby is great if you're looking to shake up your routine. I go to him whenever I need to get my butt kicked and need help starting a workout regimen again. He lets me complain but by the end of our sessions I'm sweaty, sore and grateful I came. Wait, did I just make a dirty joke? Damnit Bobby. But really, Bobby does not make me feel uncomfortable or objectified and the workouts are always fun. They range from circuits to weights to kickboxing. I really hate to run so he knows to provide some variety in the hour-long session.
When you hire a trainer, you're motivated to lose weight for the first time, put on muscle, or rise from the ashes and return to your former glory. I personally was the later and would not been able to hit my goal without the help of Matt. He was able to help me get results, keep me motivated, hold me accountable, and completely shift my perspective on health and wellness. With his extensive strength program, kickboxing classes, and varying cardio regiment, I was able to go from 250lbs to 179lbs. His wealth of exercise knowledge was only supplemented by his warm and understanding personality. Ever since he has moved away from NYC, he has been very difficult to replace. Lalee is great! He pushes you to your limit but not beyond. You will hurt the next day but it's a good hurt. He is on time and very professional. Gives encouragement the entire session and is always positive. He checked on me a few days later to make sure I was ok. I loved how good I felt even days later. Best decision I have made for myself in a long time. Highly recommended.
Kevin Brewerton is the best and I recommend him without hesitation. He pushes me when I need it, at the same time being sensitive to my physical limitations. South Coast Martial Arts is a great gym to train out of. There is a plethora of martial arts such as Kenpo, Wushu, and Muy Thai. They also offer boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and cardio kickboxing. It is a family and inviting atmosphere. My family loves SCMA!
i am a 62 year old CEO. I am also in awesome physical condition, look 20 years younger than my age, and am confident in all areas of my life. I believe the training I had with Tim made a huge difference in all of these areas. I started training with Tim as a brown belt. Four years later I earned my black belt with Tim. The truth was the brown belt I had was worthless. I could not fight. Tim trained me to fight, to get in shape, and to be able to defend myself. Tim moved away from Houston (where I trained with him) to LA about 6 or 7 years ago. However, the training was so well done, I still continue my practice and am in great shape.
