- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is typically based on a fixed price after reviewing the project details or completing an on-site estimate. I always aim to provide fair and transparent pricing depending on the scope of work. For smaller or undefined tasks, I may use an hourly rate of $65/hour with a 2-hour minimum per visit ($130 minimum). This usually applies when the scope is unclear or when there are multiple small tasks. For example, if there is a main project like faucet replacement, it would be priced as a fixed job, while additional small tasks can be handled hourly during the same visit. First-time customers receive a 10% discount. For larger or ongoing projects, I’m happy to offer additional savings and flexible pricing. Material costs are not included unless discussed in advance. I always provide a clear estimate before starting the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by asking for a few photos and a short description of the job. Then we agree on the day and time for the visit. On-site, I evaluate the project and confirm the price before beginning. I aim to keep communication clear and the process smooth.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of experience in various handyman-related work — including home repairs, remodeling, welding, and woodworking. I’ve worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects both in Europe and the U.S. My background includes over 4 years of professional welding and fabrication experience, with companies such as General Electric and a U.S.-based fabrication company in North Dakota. In addition to metalwork, I’ve completed many home improvement projects: framing, drywall, painting, flooring, siding, exterior facades, and full renovations. I also have strong experience in custom carpentry and woodworking. This wide range of hands-on experience has helped me develop a practical, solution-oriented approach and consistently deliver high-quality results.
