Jose was extremely responsive in securing the business and completing the job on time. However, I believe he may be misleading customers about the level and quality of his skills and specialties. I relied on Thumbtack’s vetting process to find qualified service providers, and while I was quoted specialty-level prices, the workmanship delivered was more consistent with a basic handyman service. The end result is that I am now $2,900 short and facing a new problem with my metal front door. To make matters worse, when I raised concerns about the quality of the work, the tone of communication became defensive and caustic rather than professional or solution-oriented. i submitted feedback and also a claim thru thumbtack, but at this point, I am no longer confident with Thumbtack and or Handyman 1st Services abilities.
