- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I sit down with them to discuss their goals and set down expectations of each other such as being on time, following through with your training and practing discipline in the kitchen, etc. Secondly I will gloss over nutrition, and basic steps on the first day, as to not overwhelm my client. Next I'll ask questions to determine what my clients know about exercise and what type of training they have been doing. Lastly I will run my clients through a set of test developed to identify current fitness level, body composition and help aim at opportunities for improvement. The test also help to quantify performance and therefore track progress throughout the training program.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Personal Trainer certification and a Functional fitness certification both through NFPT with four years experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After discovering rugby in high school, my passion for fitness bloomed and evolved into a passion for training. I love what I do!
