FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We pride ourselves on our transparent pricing process. Unlike many other companies who charge by the hour, we offer a fixed fee for the design phase, with clearly defined limitations. We understand the importance of staying within budget and always make sure to consider and respect our client's financial constraints.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To start with, we have a complimentary consultation with our clients to get to know more about the project. Then, we create a proposal tailored specifically to the client's needs. The design process is then divided into several phases, which include conceptual design, design development, final design, purchasing and procurement, project management, installation and styling, and project wrap. In the conceptual design phase, we have an initial meeting with the client to understand their requests, budget, and style. We take measurements and present the client with colors, preliminary drawings, materials, and the overall concept. We then incorporate the client's feedback to revise the concept. In the design development phase, we present the client with a comprehensive overview of all the furnishings, fixtures, and hardware, as well as 2D and 3D drawings. This gives the client a clear idea of what the end result will look like, and they have the opportunity to provide feedback for revisions. During this phase, our clients help us and guide us through the design phase by approving or disapproving the proposed items, and we start the purchasing and procurement process for approved proposals. In the final design phase, the client receives a final budget, final drawings, and a specification notebook that includes all approved items. This provides a detailed plan for the implementation of the project. In the project management phase, we hold a construction kick-off meeting and conduct regular site visits to make sure the construction process is on track and in line with the design plan. Finally, in the installation and styling phase, our team installs all the furniture and adds the finishing touches to the design, bringing the project to life and transforming the space into a functional and beautiful living environment.
