We could not be happier with our choice to hire James Handyman and Painting Service to paint our nursery! I had been looking around for someone to take this small job for a couple of weeks and was discouraged because everyone’s prices were so unreasonable. James’ bid came in well below the competition and he was extremely prompt and polite in responding and very flexible with scheduling a time/day that worked best for me. The contractor showed up on time, he was friendly and made sure we were on the same page regarding the work to be done, and he worked diligently the entire time. He was very careful, making sure to prep the area properly and make sure no paint got anywhere that it didn’t belong. His attention to detail with his work was excellent. I had expected to see missed spots or little imperfections I would have to point out for correction before he left but nope, everything was done beautifully and he even decided to help me out by using some material to seal off a gap between the wall and my closet so it would look seamless. He cleaned up the work space very well and even offered to help reposition the furniture in the room before he left. We were so happy with the quality of work and the price that we plan to book him for another job very soon because he gave me a very fair and reasonable quote on the spot. There were no hidden fees or expenses, no sudden changes to the price negotiated through Thumbtack. My husband and I have had a couple of contractors we have been dealing with the past couple of weeks for home repairs and jt has been one problem/frustration after another. It was so refreshing to work with an easy going contractor for this job that actually delivers what they promised on time, on budget, and without hassle. If you need a high quality painter at a great price that you can communicate easily with, go with James! Perfectionists you won’t be disappointed!

James agreed to paint the walls in my rental property in Corona in Aug. 2018. I requested to use with eggshell paint, but he painted with the flat paint. He agreed to fix but asked for additional payment for the material. I sent him additional money, but he never show up.
