I had multiple projects; wiring, outlet repair, troubleshooting and installation. Alex listened and carefully outlined the cost for each project which were extremely reasonable. My wiring project was a 2 person job - Alex confirmed arrival and arrived early the following day. I had an option to install wiring on an exterior wall - he installed my wiring underground for a beautiful look. He tested multiple 35 year old GFI outlets for safety concerns and made recommendation for replacement. He declined and was 100% correct for one project - I did require an HVAC repairman for a thermostat replacement. Alex will text written estimates before starting - that is so very important. Carol Evans says, "Summer of this year we made the decision to have our older home completely rewired - there was still original cloth covered wire and concern about it being a fire hazard. So we asked a trusted friend for a recommendation. They had recently used Volta at their home, so we contacted them for a quote. They came out promptly and walked through the house with us.The crew and the lead were very experienced, and worked very hard for the better part of two weeks on our house. Since everything was being rewired, we also replaced most of our fixtures and added ceiling fans to our bedrooms and recessed lighting to our living room area (we paid for these ourselves as they were not included in the quote). The Electricians were more than willing to help us make small improvements we hadn't thought of! At the end of each day they tidied up and cleaned. In order to do the rewiring they had to cut holes in the walls for access which we were told in advance, and they assured us it would be taken care of.After the Electricians were finished, their painters came and patched all the drywall. Paint was matched perfectly, and I honestly cannot even tell where the work was done. It looks so much much better than before!Volta did an excellent job and I would certainly hire them again if we ever need any Electrical work in the future!"See more
