Introduction: What makes me such an effective tutor/educator is that I can relate to students on their level. If they don't understand important material, I am patient in further educating them until they fully comprehend. I have a BA in English literature from a university on the East Coast. I was an editor for over a year and a half reading student papers and dissertations. I am familiar speaking to people with accents as I volunteered at a school for international students learning English. I do my best to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience. My stepbrother was from Russia, and I helped teach him how to read. He is now an avid English communicator who no longer even has an accent.
