Dr Fisher has really helped our marriage in just 4 weeks time. He listens and doesn't solve the problem for you, He asked you to talk to each other and figure out together how to resolve certain situations. He is very genuine and truly has a desire to help marriages. We are so happy we were referred to him and highly recommend him if your in need of a caring, compassionate therapist.
miss tran is a contemporary, youthful, energetic therapist. the greatest i've ever had. instead of an old, boring therapist, she stays engaged and is very young and youthful. it provides a fresh perspective compared to old school therapists who simply ask how you feel. i highly reccomend miss tran to anyone seeking counseling to any kind of problem out there ! she is amazing and i owe her a lot. she's helped me dig through a lot of my psyche.

My husband and I were in a very unhealthy place in our relationship and neither of us were sure how or even if we wanted to get through it. However because of our 2 year old son we thought it best to seek help. Shanna was patient as we flip flopped continually on staying and ending our marriage. Ultimately we ended the marriage but with the help and guidance we received we were able to do it with love and respect for one another. We are great friends and great co parents to our now 4 year old son. These sessions really changed how we viewed one another and allowed us to heal making the decision to end our marriage a easier and less painful choice.
Dr. Paul Fisher is an excellent Therapist. I have seen many Therapist in my life but he's the only one I keep going to. He's a wonderful all around Therapist, from addiction behaviors to family counseling. I would recommend him to anyone!
Amber Rice is an outstanding marriage and family therapist, compassionate supervisor and brilliant teacher. In her practice and teaching, she does not only draw from an impressive number of years of experience and above-the-cut education but also her innate sensibility for the human psyche. I heartily refer clients to her and I cannot recommend her strongly enough. I wish there were more therapists who had her solid common sense and her boundless empathy. If you have a chance to work with her, you will not walk away without a transformational experience.
Christy is an excellent and experienced therapist. She is kind, patient and helpful. She is always very genuine and comfortable to work with.
Litsa provided marriage counseling sessions for my husband and me, something we wish we had done way earlier in our 40+ years together. It worked! and now, instead of dreading the time, we actually look forward to another 40 (?) years together!
I have been fortunate enough to be able to benefit from Jimmy's guidance, knowledge and wisdom, for almost two years now. Initially seeking his assistance personally and now my wife and I meet with him regularly, related to improving and preserving the quality of our marriage and family life. My wife and I have accessed many counselors and therapists over the years. But Jimmy Garcia has been clearly the most helpful and insightful Which is why we are continuing to access his much needed and appreciated services. Due to his great listening and communication skills and numerous life experiences (as a counselor, parent, pastor, husband, father, businessman) we feel that we benefit extensively In that, his counseling is grounded in "real life" logic and intelligence. For our needs, Jimmy's spiritual knowledge and experiences as a Pastor, are quite helpful. But do not be discouraged to consider his services, if you'd rather seek guidance on a more secular basis. With an emphasis on your needs and wants, Jimmy will (like he did for us) "fine tune" a plan of action that will equip you with life's tools, spiritual, emotional and otherwise.
Rick Slinkard really helped us though a tough time. I continue to see him on a regular basis for ideas on how to communicate and deal with life complications. He is very easy to talk to and I do not feel judged at all. I am very thankful to have found him.
I started seeing Todd Spath in January 2011, when my life was unraveling. I suffered a nervous breakdown and I was diagnosed with severe depression, generalized anxiety, PTSD, suicidality, and self harm. Todd helped me to uncover the sources of my symptoms that had caused me a lot of pain and grief throughout my whole life. He has helped me and my family through many very difficult marriage and family challenges. It has been a long road back to recovery, but the journey has been well worth it. Having Todd as my therapist has been a great blessing and he has made my journey much easier. Todd has such a great heart to serve people, which shines in his ability as a Marriage and Family Therapist. He is very patience, empathetic, witty, creative, and wise. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Patrick has gone above and beyond helping my family. Between the classic talking therapy to LENS or EMDR, Patrick is a dynamic therapist with a great connection to his patients.
I'm helping people who ask the question, "should I stay or should I go?". Are you in a relationship and making that decision whether to stay or go? Do you sometimes feel stuck and unhappy? Do you ever lie awake at night worrying that you'll hurt someone or that you'll end up alone? Making the decision whether to stay with your partner can be agonizing. Maybe you are arguing all the time or not getting the sexual intimacy you need such as just feeling like roomates. Perhaps, you're unhappy and unfulfilled in your relationship or facing neglect, infidelity, verbal abuse or other disrespectful treatment. What I know is that its possible to work through these issues and to make difficult decisions in a way that brings peace to your heart. What I also know is that if you want to be happier, it can be helpful to get some input from an unbiased third party. Someone who doesn't have an agenda for you other than your happiness. So, if you're struggling with what to do with your relationship and would like help as you make a decision that works for you, call me for counseling services in San Diego, La Jolla, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Scripps Ranch and neighboring areas. I know I can help out.
