But yes, i research the latest and greatest ideas and go through my web of contacts to be on the up and up. A magician must.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Most magicians say that they got into magic because of either a) they got a magic kit when they were little or b) they saw a magician when they were younger and wanted to be one. That was not the case for me. When I was younger I would listen to my family play Dungeons & Dragons and I would stay up and listen to their fantastic adventures that hey made up and had. And when they thought I was old enough i began to play with them, they gave me the wizard character because they were usually the easiest to play. After playing a few wizards I noticed that they all had a similar skill called "Prestidigitation." I didn't know what that word meant so I looked it up in the dictionary, finding that it was a fancy way of say sleight of hand magic: making cards disappear, coins appear, balls float, etc. I tried to find out more, and it has been all down/up hill from there.
