FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Aced It! Cooling & Heating, we believe in transparent, upfront pricing — no gimmicks or hidden fees. Here’s what customers should know: Flat-Rate Pricing: We provide fixed quotes for repairs and installs, so the price won’t change even if the job takes longer than expected. No Lowball Service Calls: Unlike some companies offering cheap or free diagnostics but inflating repair prices, we include basic repairs and cleaning in our service fee, providing real value upfront. Discounts: We offer discounts for Rewards Plan Members, Veterans, First Responders, and Teachers. Financing Available: Flexible payment options, including 0% interest plans and approvals down to 550 credit scores. Premium Parts & Labor Options: You’ll always receive part and labor breakdowns, with options for longer warranties or higher-quality materials if you choose. Our goal is to make pricing fair, clear, and aligned with the quality service we provide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to be simple, transparent, and educational: Initial Contact: You can call, text, or book online. We’ll discuss your needs and explain any upfront costs (like our diagnostic or service fee, which often includes basic repairs and cleaning). Onsite Evaluation: A licensed technician — not a salesperson — will perform a full evaluation of your HVAC system and ductwork. We’ll identify any issues and provide multiple repair or replacement options when needed. Transparent Estimates: We’ll give you clear, flat-rate pricing with part and labor breakdowns. You’ll also receive options for longer warranties or upgraded parts if desired. Approval & Work: Once you approve, we’ll proceed with the work. Most repairs can be done same-day since our trucks are fully stocked. Follow-Up & Support: After the job, we stay available for any questions and provide options to join our Rewards Plan for ongoing maintenance and discounts. We focus on solutions, not sales. Our mission is to keep your system running efficiently and safely — without pressure or upselling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings a combination of hands-on experience, formal training, and industry certifications: Real-World Expertise: Our founders started as service technicians — not salespeople — working in the field diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems across Southern California. Military Background: One of our owners is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, bringing discipline, problem-solving, and leadership to the business. Industry Certifications: We’re certified by the National Comfort Institute (NCI) in Duct System Optimization, Air Balancing, and System Performance. Ongoing Training: Our technicians receive continuous training on the latest HVAC technology, diagnostic tools, and California code compliance (including Title 24 and HERS requirements). Commitment to Excellence: We stay current with industry changes, including new refrigerants, energy efficiency standards, and advanced equipment from top brands like American Standard, Bosch, and Mitsubishi. Bottom line — we combine experience, ethics, and education to deliver premium service without the sales gimmicks.
