Our job doesn't end with the purchase of your equipment. In addition, we offer design build, installation, generator maintenance program, and 24-hour emergency service (365 days a year). I don't usually give reviews until a job is done but Tony and his crew at Shore Break Electric are solid enough to review early. I initially hired them for a simple breaker issue but after seeing Tony work and finding that our main panel was a mess I decided to hire him to clean it up plus, install 3 additional outlets inside the house. They've done a fantastic job, have been straight forward in all explanations of their work and have consulted with me when they need my input or approval. I also like that they're local and we're supporting our local businesses.

April 12, 2016 Sheila P. Torrance, CA I was panicking after dinner after I found out that all our electrical outlets in the kitchen lost its power. I tried playing with the circuit breakers but that didn't help. I immediately went on line and put out a service quote via Thumbtack. Within a few minutes, I simultaneously got an email and a call from Tony at Shore Break Electric. Tony walked through with me over the phone on what to do and within few minutes I got back my outlets power. Not only that I saved time and money, Tony saved my food in the fridge. Thanks Tony. Tony and his team from Shore Break did an absolutely outstanding job diagnosing and repairing a huge, dangerous problem that developed in my house. My original request for help was responded to at lightning speed. Within minutes I had received an email and a phone call from Tony, the owner. When Tony came to my house to give me a free estimate, he diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes, even though it was a unique issue that physically encompassed a large portion of my home. His quick diagnosis came about solely as a result of his experience. I have a feeling any other electrician could have putzed around my house for three hours and still wouldn't have been able to diagnose and repair my issue as expediently as Tony did. Tony literally saved my house from burning down. When he completed the work, it was as if no one was even there. Everything was spotless! I have since referred him to a neighbor and to my condominium association. GREAT JOB, SHORE BREAK! Oh, and two other electricians I previously contacted didn't even want to come over when I told them what my problem was. (A.K.A. the "I ain't touching that with a ten foot pole" routine). Another came out and "fixed" the problem, only to literally have the wiring in my house melt down, arc and die just a few days later. Tony wasn't afraid to come out, put some gloves on, and tackle the problem. You gotta respect that.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a base rate of 80.00 per hour per man. We also have minimum charge on an emergency call of 2 hours at 160.00 per hour. All estimates are free.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to visit the site before we bid on work. This also gives us a chance to meet the customer face to face.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always working on training and safety. This is the only way you can keep up with the change in technology and new products.
