Introduction: I have four years of basketball coaching experience with Frosh and JV girls high school teams. I also have 3 years of tennis coaching experience at the high school level, where I worked with beginners and intermediate players. For basketball, I learned how to teach girls who have never played basketball or a sport in their life and advance girls to a more demanding level on the JV team. I personally have been playing the sport for 30 years now. I play all positions and can teach all positions and moves. I love coaching, the sport, the analysis of a players body mechanics, and the sense of accomplishment players feel when they master something like shooting or dribbling. My pricing and quality can not be beat by any coach. My first lesson is always $20 for one hour. I recommend the parent watches the lesson to witness the quality of the instruction. The last 7 first lessons have resulted in further lesson packages being purchased. Afterward, the lesson price is $35/hr, unless you prepay for 4 lessons @ $30/hr ($120).

Greg was a wonderful coach for my son. He started with the basics (which were never taught when he started club basketball) and moved on from there at my son's pace. He made it fun and challenging at the same time. My son greatly improved with Greg's coaching and encouragement. He is extremely patient with the kids and makes it really fun for them. He built confidence in my son which he never had before. I cannot say enough positive things about Greg!

All of the above! Greg truly loves the sport and it shows in his coaching. He is great (patient, professionally assertive, professional, fun, caring) with my son (15) and has helped him improve tremendously!!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Stated in the introduction.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For the first lesson, I will assess three things: lay-ups, dribbling, and shooting form in about 5 minutes. I will categorize the new client as a beginner, some level of intermediate skill acquisition or an advanced player. Then I will begin to build skills appropriately. For example, if a new client can do both right and left handed lay-ups, I will see if they can do reverse lay-ups with proper form.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with a 9 year old girl, who is a beginner. I work with an 18 year old young man, who is a beginner. I work with a married couple in their late 20's, where the wife has 5 years experience and her husband is a beginner. I work with three 11 year old boys at the same time who are at an intermediate level. I work with a 15 year old boy who is an intermediate player trying to make the JV team at his high school during the upcoming tryouts during the 2020-2021 school year.
