- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest that you ask any photographer you are considering hiring to see additional photos besides those just listed on their website. It is easy to show a few photos that look really great, but you should make sure that they rest of their work is worthy of being shown. You should ask to see photos that you give you an idea of what you will be getting for the same type of event. Ask more questions about their experience. Make sure that they are honest about the level of experience that they have. There are great newer photographers out there but no one should try to sell themselves as more than what they are. I deeply believe that honesty is so important as this is the best way to avoid future disappointments down the road for both the photographer and the client.
