- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My best advice when hiring a makeup artist is to consider not only their rates but also their experience and quality of work. In this industry, you definitely get what you pay for. When hiring an artist for a trial, I would highly recommend browsing through different types of looks and styles in order to get a clear idea of what you are looking to achieve. It is always a good idea to have photos available so there's no miscommunication. When booking for a special event, I would strongly recommend doing an initial trial - OR - thorough phone consultation so that everyone is on the same page and the expectations are set in advance. I make it a priority to get to know as much as possible about my clients and their personal style in order to provide them with the best possible customized service.
