I was amazed by Alex is intuitiveness, diagnosing my lower back pain. Halfway through the first session I thought relief from a chronic injury, and overtime I've been able to almost eliminate pain. I have since followed her to yoga, Pilates and many bodywork sessions. She is always communicative and punctual. I'd recommend her to anyone .
I’ve been using Sarah for pilates instruction and all around fitness training. Her style is upbeat and encouraging. Her strengths are pinpointing certain muscle groups and she is great on technique. All around a fantastic trainer. Highly recommended.
What can I say about Helene? I've met her via thumbtack because I had severe lower back issues and PT didn't help me. I've been doing private at home sessions with Helene for almost 2 years now and I will never stop doing them with her. She has changed my life for the good, I have less pain, she monitors me to make sure I don't do anything wrong and she goes above and beyond bringing me props that work for me. Throughout spending so much time she's become more than just my pilates teacher, she's become a close friend whom I trust and can always talk to. She understands how to adapt to different personalities, she is ALWAYS on time and NEVER cancelled on me. When my schedule changes she does everything she can to accommodate. I'm so thankful for thumbtack as they brought me to her. My health and life is better thanks to her.

We had an amazing experience with Blair as the instructor. She has a great command of the class for both people new to yoga as well as experienced. The tempo of the class is enjoyable while physically rewarding.
Brook is a fabulous Pilates instructor! I go to her Pilates Studio, 3-4 times a week, and I love her work outs so much that I drive in from the OC to do them. Her Studio is conveniently located in Downtown LA, by Staples Center and USC; it is easy to find and there is plenty of free parking. The Studio is very clean, well lit, ventilated and has an open feeling which gives you a zen like experience while you are working out. I primarily do the group reformer classes in the evening (the Studio offers a wide variety of classes and times); two of the classes which I attend are taught by Brook. She really knows her stuff, has a fun, vibrant personality and constantly mixes the work out up, so the classes are not boring and you feel like you are getting a different work out every time! The other two instructors, Maggie and Sara are also great! You should definetly try a Pilates workout at this Studio, you won't be disappointed and will achieve great results!!!
Everyone at Kinesis Movement Studio is a top-notch pro. The Pilates class, private training, and physical therapy services are among the best I've ever used, and I recommend them highly. The location is good, prices are fair, and they are efficient and friendly - a great neighborhood business.
The training at Zoe: A Pilates Studio is as good as it gets. The teachers are all well-trained in the method, addressing client injuries/limitations, and they have great instincts on when to add new exercises to the routine. I've had to accommodate several changes to my workouts over the years due to injury from other activities, and their guidance always keeps me moving and working out hard while protecting me from further injury. The studio space itself is very cool and there's ample space to work comfortably even with numerous clients in house.
Ada is fabulous. I'd never felt better or been in better shape than when I was taking Pilates classes with her! She'll push you, but she'll also provide modifications so that the class is possible for people at all levels.
I am a professional violinist, and have been playing for 26 years. In this time, I have developed issues with my posture and which could lead to long term negative effects and perhaps hinder my career. I specifically requested Tatiana for a physical assessment due to her expertise in posture alignment, as proper evaluation is critical for performing artists. After a thorough assessment, she has developed an extremely detailed short and long term program, where exercises are adjusted for performing artists, making sure that my joints and wrists are not under too much strain. I notices that our weekly sessions (I take 3-4 sessions per week) are never the same, and every session is a challenge measured to my abilities. I have also addressed arm pains I've had lately from practicing and strain. This issues has also been resolved. She has given me a series of exercises that I can do at home using only the 'pilates ring' and the 'terra bands' with various resistance levels. Ive only been taking sessions for 3 weeks, and already we have done plenty of exercises using the Mat, Reformer and Cadillac. Her designed program has already helped me improve my muscle tone. I am certainly much more flexible, and I built muscle strength. She is highly qualified and extremely professional and serious about the art of Pilates. This is a quality I highly respect and value, so given her abilities and based on my personal results and experience, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve the health of their lifestyle.
