Oscar got back to me right away, showed up when he said he would, and gave me an estimate. The work was done quickly and very high quality. (We installed a street name sign at our private drive/cul-de-sac - welded atop a cement block.) would work with this company again!

You don't need to doubt the capabilities of Oscar and his team. He is organized, efficient, and extremely capable. He has everything he needs to do the job right, from a large flatbed truck to a jackhammer and arc welder, Oscar is ready for any challenge. His workmanship is exemplary! Oscar and his team were easy going, offered suggestions that worked well for both properties affected by the recent winds that caused the rear fence to fall. New fencing and a whole new look, but best of all the extra strengthening from steel to reinforce without taking away from the aesthetic we were hoping for. Will be calling Oscar to help us with another project next week when the rain has passed. Thanks guys!

Oscar and his crew did an amazing job! Better than what we asked for originally too. Oscar came out and did an accurate bid, and even fixed our existing gate (which was off hinged/centered) without expecting anything (even to be hired). He maintained excellent communication every step of the way, gave us a timeline and stuck to it. He was always professional, polite and considerate (even working around our small dogs making sure they didn't make their escape while he worked and cleaning up after themselves). His craftsmanship is undeniable and the gates look amazing!! We are very pleased. He listened to our wants and concerns and made sure to inform us if things changed (rain held us back and some underground main water pipes changed some of our plans), but he was informative, responsive and flexible. We totally recommend his services and will use him again.

Oscar is very polite and professional, he was in contact with me at all times, letting me know what would happen and when. He came out to my home and thoroughly assessed my needs for two gates now, and a fence in the future. After getting 3 quotes for the 2 gates from other contractors, I chose Oscar because his method of building the 2 gates was in my opinion the most correct way. He used metal posts that he sunk into the ground with concrete. Oscar welded a metal frame for the gate itself and he screwed , sealed redwood boards to the fame. He used a door handle and deadbolt so that the gates could be opened from either side, the inside only requiring the turn of a knob and no key in the event of a fire. Several days after setting the posts in the ground, Oscar brought the actual gates and hung them. They are beautiful!! I am so happy with the finished product, they are so much more functional and so much stronger and prettier than I had ever hoped for. I would recommend Oscar at "The Fence Guys" to anyone any time!! He was very reasonably priced too!! I look forward to getting my whole fence updated in the future!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to do your research. The more you know the better it is for everyone. Customers don't realize how much hard work is involved in putting up a fence.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What a potential customers should think through is what does he or she want to accomplish with a new fence. Meaning do you want privacy with your fence. Maybe you're fence is more of a security issue. A wood fence looks great. There's just a lot of maintenance involved with a wood fence. A wrought iron fence will last a long time but you don't get no privacy like you would with a vinyl fence. I would highly recommend a vinyl fence. Just because it looks great after ten years and it's absolutely maintenance free.
