FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to gather relevant information about the job before I accept. That way we can both be sure that I have the relevant skills and equipment to complete the job to our mutual satisfaction. I am always on time. I always complete the job. I aim to be efficient and friendly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Two year vocational qualification in cabinetmaking. Fifteen years as a bespoke cabinetmaker and installer. I am constantly expanding my skillset.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2005 I quit my sales job to study cabinetmaking at university in London. I worked for a high end bespoke cabinetmaking company (jacktrench.co.uk) for eight years, before moving to the USA to be with my American wife in 2014. Since then, I worked at another cabinet shop in the Bay Area, before deciding to start a handyman business. Particularly relevant to this job is my experience in attaching things to walls securely, so that they do not fall off. My work is organised and accurate, and I love problem solving.
