We ended up hiring Oswaldo for our two smaller handyman projects. He was excellent at communicating with us in a timely manner, he completed the variety of handyman tasks we needed to have done. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time, worked cleanly, knowledgeably and efficiently. We anticipate using him for the woodworking job and he is currently working on a bid for us. We couldn’t have been happier with his work and we plan to call him for future needs.

Oswaldo is reliable, very punctual, and works with excellence! He helped me remove an entire wall between my kitchen and dining room, remove old flooring and installed new ones, put up new recessed lighting, and I couldn't be happier with the end results! Everything was done very professionally and seamlessly. He always showed up on time and worked hard throughout the day so that the project finished in a very timely manner. I'm definitely going with Oswaldo again for any future projects, and would recommend him to anyone!

Oswaldo was amazing. Super responsive, honest, and I think that he enjoyed the work! I was concerned with seismic vulnerability of the brick veneer. I posted my existing mantle on Thumbtack, along with an idea of how I wanted the new mantle to look, and Oswaldo took care of the rest. I picked out the tile and grout, and had Oswaldo paint the walls when he was done. He even matched the crown molding and floorboards!

It looks like a new room!

We are requesting Oswaldo to do our bathroom.

My (rather large) project was closer to custom furniture making than to general carpentry, so I spent half a year looking for a woodworker on Thumbtack, Yelp, and where not. Bay Area contractor market being what it is, I found nobody willing even to look at my project. Eventually I expanded my search to carpenters and now I’m really glad that I did.

Oswaldo replied promptly, came to our house to discuss the project, offered sensible suggestions and a modest price and made everything in a week, which was faster than I expected and probably at a fraction of price I would pay to a woodworker. Granted, he does not have CNC routers and other fancy tools or even a workshop (he was working in our garage), but Oswaldo has shown me that in hands of a master there is nothing a miter saw cannot do. Oh, and in the evenings our garage was always carefully vacuumed, so nobody would tell that it saw some heavy sawing during the day.

I am very pleased with Oswaldo’s work and highly recommend his services.

Owner of R Construction, Oswaldo, was quick to respond. I needed broken sofa foot replaced and he did above and beyond i.e. purchased wood, made 8 foots, colored and attached them. My sofa looks great. He is very professional, responsive and goes extra mile to deliver quality job. He is a very fine carpenter. He is very friendly and easy to work with. His rate is very reasonable, too. I highly recomend him for quality carpenter job and I will hire him for any of my future project.
