We are family owned since 2010 and I have 30 years experience as a journeyman electrician and 8 years as a licensed contractor. We accept most credit/debt cards. We take care to provide our residential customers high quality services for their unique needs. For our residential customers we offer electrical troubleshooting, panel upgrades and repair, installation of ceiling fans, switches, outlets and plugs, smoke detectors, doorbells, light fixtures, recessed lighting, circuit breakers, exterior lighting, landscape lighting, bathroom fans, commercial lighting, vanity lighting, hot water heater wiring and repair, security lighting and camera systems. We also do commercial electrical maintenance and installation, tenant improvements, and troubleshooting for retail, light industrial, apartments, including landscape and security lighting. We offer a service department for agricultural customers providing local farmers, growers and wineries that includes wiring to new buildings, lights in sheds, adding electric door switches, motor controls and conveyor systems. Electricity is crucial to our daily lives. When there are problems, our lives stop. We are here to help with your electrical problems in an efficient an timely manor.

Kevin is extremely good at what he does! We had a light and several outlets out in our son's room. He diagnosed the problem and then spent time in our attic fixing the issues and cleaning up the junction boxes so it wouldn't happen again. See these before and after photos of two different boxes he cleaned up for us. Amazing. We will call Kevin every time for our electrical needs!

Better than I ever could have expected since I had no prior experience with this contractor. I looked them up on the internet and saw they we're licensed and bonded. That's a must for me. But above all that, Kevin the electrician was on time, professional, courteous, clean, knowledgeable in his craft and successfully completed all the diagnostics and repairs in an acceptable amount of time. Kevin also cleaned up each of several work areas and the billing process was painless. The hourly rate was fair market. I give a 5 star and for me, that is very rare. Thank you Kevin and Burnhart Electric.

Wow is the best word I can use to describe Barnhart Electric. So professional and meticulous. My project was very custom. Kevin added conduit, wiring, and a new dedicated bus-bar to a master suite I made into a studio/mother-in-law quarters and needed separate power for the "kitchenette". He didnt even stop when the rain showers started. If you have an electrical project hire this guy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We quote electrical jobs at $85 per hour plus materials for residential and $95 per hour plus materials for commercial projects. Most residential jobs can be quoted by phone or email. If an in-person estimate is requested there is a $75 estimate fee.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years experience as a journeyman electrician and electrical contracting.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my career as a maintenance mechanic with emphasis on the electrical. I enjoyed that so much that I concentrated strictly on the electrical, became a journeyman and finally a contractor.
