The photographer made us feel like we were part of her family. We never felt uncomfortable and she was fantastic with our 2 year old! It suddenly rained when we started our session and she was completely flexible, even switching up some ideas to make the rain an accent rather than a disturbance. The pictures are beautiful, she has tons of ideas for poses, and she even sends you tips for how to dress and look your best (I needed this, for sure!). I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our family.

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always taking workshops and classes to make sure all of my skills are up to date. I want to make sure that there is not much out there I do not know, and will seek to learn about it.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been taking pictures for 20+ years, but only recently have made the leap to make it my job. My brother passed away not to long ago, and I found out that there was hardly any images of him in the last few years of his life for his little girl to have to remember him by. I thought that cannot happen to anyone else, so I have priced my images and work affordable to all.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs that I have done so far is weddings, boudoir, engagement, family, children, toddlers, maternity, High School Seniors and portrait.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice for anyone looking to hire a photographer, is to look for someone's style you like. Talk with them before hand to make sure their personalty matches yours. And that they understand what you are wanting.
