D.j. Soul-O was referred by a friend who used his sevices before. I was skeptical when Soul-O & I spoke because his excitment level was non-existant. He appeared to confident in his abilities & assured me his music selection would satisfy my diverse crowd. To top off my skepticism his price to perform for 8 hours was unbelievably reasonable. After debating a couple of days I decided to go with Soul-O. I must say it was the BEST DECISION I made. Soul-O was on time, dressed appropriatly for the event, played the right music at the right time and was very courtious to partygoers requesting certain songs. All that be said Soul-O was worth his weight in gold. Can't wait till my next event. HE'S HIRED!!!!

My standard current pricing is $100/hr but can increase with equipment & labor demands.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I'd like to have a in depth conversation with my customers to gauge just how large they want their event to be, get an idea of the genre of music they would like me to play, and to generally put their minds at ease in knowing they made the right professional choice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified recording engineer with over 15 years of live sound, stage and lighting experience. Working in the past for such companies as Sound Arena, All Sound Stage & Lighting, Hot Tracks Recording Studio and since 2006 to current day Long Beach Most Wanted Recording Studio. Which is one of the most popular recording and rehearsal environments in the Long Beach area.
