FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally quote either an hourly rate or a total figure. It just depends upon the scope of the project, and a few other variables, such as urgency of deadline, complexity level, and what not. I'm always willing to discuss your budget, and try to make a project fit within a certain monetary and time frame based upon a client's needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For me it all begins with establishing a connection, and getting as clear a picture I can of what project a person or organization has in mind. I offer free consultations for your projects to that end. (In my experience, often times these conversations can really elevate a project from an idea into a solid concept.) Each project will differ in some ways, but my process is generally as follows: meet and consult / intitial design / feedback / revisions / design / and each project I offer up to three rounds of revisions in the quoted project price. After that, should more revisions be desired I charge an hourly rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2012 I received my BFA in Graphic Design from Maine College of Art, Portland, Maine. I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a crayon, and have received formal training in photography, oil paints, anatomical drawing, illustration, print making and sculpture as well.
