This evening, what I assumed to be a simple light switch replacement turned out to reveal a bigger electrical problem than I felt comfortable tackling (visible electrical arc among ~10 different wires, and eventual power outage), so I sought out a licensed electrician on Thumbtack. Anthony was the first to reply, and provided a reasonable quote for his labor. When I told him that it was in an office building and needed to be repaired before the next business day, he was willing to come repair it that same night! Anthony showed up promptly (with his wife, who had to come with, as I caught them during their dinner out!), and proceeded to cheerfully diagnose and repair the problem. Anthony kindly explained every step of the work he was doing and it became clear that he was very knowledgeable about the subject. He not only repaired the power outage, he also remedied the mess of wires making loose connections in a jumble of a spider web to avoid potential future problems. Thank you for quickly resolving what could have become a big headache the next business day, and thank your very understanding wife who had to wait close to an hour sitting in the dark!

Anthony installed two new outlets in the garage and a new one in a bathroom. He also fixed the fan in the bathroom and installed an electrical box for the front porch light. When he saw something that was previously installed wrong he let me know about it. He takes pride in his work.
