About
After ten years of awarded service in the public education system, I founded The College and Career Center(SM) in order to provide the best college and career planning service available. I am a full-time college and career advisor at a comprehensive high school.
I have a credential in career development and I am also a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE).
I do a blend of holistic college and career planning that relates my students' interests to the type of education they should pursue in order to obtain employment in their desired field(s).
We explore what educational opportunities they have based on their academic progress thus far and project what they can do to move forward. Simply put, I help high school students get into college, college students finish their degrees and get out of college, and I help adults transition in their career.
