- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a student of Kelbytraining.com. I spend hours on this highly educational website every week learning tips from all aspects of photography from some of the best photographers and photoshop editors in the world. This is not cheap but everything I learn I use to makeup headshot and portrait work evolve to its best form.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an actor before I became a photographer. I grew tired of paying too much for headshots that didn't express who I am because the photographer didnt take the time to create a connection. I began to take my own headshots and then I began to provide headshots for actors that were close to me. I have learned how to access who a person is and bring that out for the photo!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently a client came to me for headshots for their two children for a world renowned talent convention in Las Vegas. The photos I provided for those kids were heralded as the "best photos of anyone in attendance". Both children received commercial and theatrical representation. I feel like I truly helped them.
