- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have very skilled handymen and charge a reasonable rate for their services. We have only the best handymen, who do the job right and won't skip corners or short change our customers. When factoring in the overhead business expenses (workers comp, insurance, transportation, operations, and marketing) our handymen work extremely hard to make a good living. We're very proud to support them and our customers at a rate we believe is fair to both parties. We don't currently offer discounts for new customers, but we do offer bonuses for repeat customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We're happy to communicate in whatever manner our new customer wants. We're available via Thumbtack chat, SMS, Email, or phone. On smaller projects - we can usually assess the size and give an immediate estimate. On larger projects - we're happy to give an in person estimate. During your initial visit - we'll also get to know you and how we can help you take care of your home. We've developed a mobile application and website that allows you to track repairs and maintenance tasks - and we're constantly looking for feedback. Our mission is to be your one-stop shop for all things home improvement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Handymen have over 15 years of industry experience. They're able to handle most tasks that deal with mechanical elements, plumbing, or electrical.
