Introduction: I have produced, directed, and edited dozens of projects: commercials, trailers, and corporate behind-the-scenes videos. A majority of my work has been for Activision where I’ve been responsible for creating numerous advertising pieces for the video game franchises: The Amazing Spider-Man, Transformers, and Men In Black. For photography and videography, I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV and Canon lenses. I edit in Adobe Premiere. I’m also an expert at creating high-quality motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. I always enjoy working on new projects, whether it's with a new client or someone I've worked with many times before. I thrive on the challenge of developing a client's idea into a final, polished concept that helps promote their brand or create awareness for a new product.

Chris at MediaMynd is an exceptional motion picture media producer and director, however, he also edits, creates motion graphics, mixes sound and participates directly in many other crucial production and post-production activities that render amazing video deliverables to clients, like me. Chris crafted an effective book trailer for Resurrection Sunday, that literally brought the storyline to life. He carefully selected images that perfectly portrayed each character, and combined them with compelling music and graphics that really hold the viewers attention (not an easy task in this day and age). He worked tirelessly to ensure the dialogue and voiceovers were just right. Chris was patient, persistent, and a lot of fun to work with. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! The trailer he created helped me to market my book in a unique way, to an audience that can be difficult to reach and even harder to make a meaningful connection with. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A flat-rate is negotiated at the beginning of every project based on the amount of time required to finish the project. This flat-rate covers all costs, including 3 revisions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, each project starts with the client sending me a creative brief: a 1-2 sheet summary of the project. Next, we have a lengthy phone call during which we discuss the project in detail, including expected length, look-and-feel, and any other special requirements such as motion graphics, titles, green screen compositing, camera tracking, etc. Once I have all of the necessary information, I can determine how long the project will take. Finally, a first-cut delivery date will be established along with a flat-rate price based on the amount of time the project will take to complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning new motion graphics tricks by watching online video tutorials. Technology is always changing, and this helps me stay up to date on the latest effects.
