About
I’m Shaq, not seven foot one like Shaquille O’Neal, but when it comes to events we do it just as BIG. Originally from Puerto Rico, I’ve been living in Los Angeles since 2019 and have been DJing for 11 years. In that time I’ve done it all, from weddings and bar mitzvahs to nightclubs, private parties, and big concerts.
I’m also the official touring DJ for Kid Ink and have DJed for Waka Flocka, so I know how to bring energy and keep the crowd moving.
I also run a creative music company called WAVPOOL which has built a global following on YouTube with millions of views from our DJ sets. That experience has taught me how to read any room and create the perfect vibe.
My goal is simple. To make your event unforgettable with the right music, great energy, and a smooth experience from start to finish.

I wanted to select every positive option available for this review, but unfortunately, it wouldn’t let me!
DJ Shaq did an AMAZING job at our Halloween party! From start to finish, he was extremely communicative, professional, enthusiastic, and excited, which made us even more excited for the event. He was wonderful to work with and made the entire experience seamless.
We collaborated to create a playlist that matched the vibe we wanted, while also giving him the creative freedom to make his own selections. He was incredibly talented at reading the room, keeping the energy high, and pivoting when needed to make sure everyone was having a great time. The music played a huge role in making our party such a success, and DJ Shaq absolutely delivered!
I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ or a better experience. He truly exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be using him for many more parties in the future. I would absolutely recommend DJ Shaq to anyone looking for a professional, energetic, and talented DJ who knows how to keep a party going!

We had DJ ShaqGonzoe for our wedding and honestly, he was amazing! From the ceremony to the last song of the night, he kept everything flowing perfectly. He knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept the dance floor full the whole time.
What we loved most was how easy he was to work with—super chill, professional, and really listened to what we wanted. He mixed in our must-play songs perfectly and added his own touches that got everyone hyped. The energy he brought made the night unforgettable.
