Lisa walks my two dogs a couple times a week and she is the greatest! She is professional, reasonably priced, very flexible (given my busy schedule) and makes me feel comfortable leaving my pups in her care. I really appreciate the recaps she provides via text message after she walks my dogs. Lisa has been an absolute blessing for my dog Layla and I. She is very loving and in tune with Layla's spunky personality. She takes her on long walks and hikes, which Layla couldn't enjoy more. I know she is well taken care of while I am away at work. Overall, Lisa came into our lives to walk my dog, but what we received in return is more than I expected. I first found Lisa's service about two years ago on Thumbtack.com and her experience and professionalism was evident upon receiving the initial quotes. First, she stated she was bonded and insured, when I asked others who had quoted me much lower rates if they could show proof, they never replied back. Lisa sent me a follow up message asking what she could do to earn my business. I was impressed. She was really working and taking her job seriously. Lisa got back to me immediately, and when I spoke to her, I could tell she had chosen this profession because of her true love of pets. Right of the bat she asked me all about my dog, but not typical dog walking business questions, but what do I love most about him, I just went on, I became quick friends with Lisa and so did my dog Max. The Speed Walking Dog goes non stop, I go to Lisa for advice on all things "Max" related, training issues, bizarre new behavioral issues, illnesses that come on that used to have me running to the vet - now I call Lisa - she let me know when I joined "her family" any client of hers who calls or texts her on a given day - she personally returns their message or call that day Do yourself a favor, you owe it to your pup to at least look into Lisa's services and give her a call. Trust me, I did all of the research and the price shopping and of all the professional, insured services, The Speed Walking Dog's rates are a deal. As for the research, I've done that for you too - they've been considered a top dog walking service for the past 6 years in a row. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't have a complicated pricing system. 1-4 walk per half hour is 20.00 the industry norm and 5 walks or more is 18.00. You don't find that discount with many companies
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will send new customers on Thumbtack a quote, typically the interested customer will e mail, text or call me. I respond immediately answering all questions they may have and provide further info. Once the new customer is interested, I will set up a free in home consultation with one of my walkers, follow up using the customer's desired mode of communication, set up walks as needed.
