We are so relieved and grateful to have found Adam at West Coast Paws to help with our 2 beloved dog children for the first time when we went out of town last week. Prior to this we had to board our dogs and despite sending them to the most highly rated doggie hotel in the area we still left with unsettled feelings. We are so happy we don’t have to use doggie hotels again. We were connected to our dog walker Sarah through Adam who took incredible care of our dogs for daily walks. She took photos each time and even sent a dog walk report (see attached). How amazing is this report? Both our pups are rescues and untrusting of strangers but they appear to be very happy with Sarah. She was also so kind to offer to take out our trash bins since we happened to be out during trash and recycling days. She also fed the dogs with the visits. Our home was unfortunately invaded by ants out of nowhere during one of the days due to extreme temperature changes. This happens a couple times unexpectedly throughout the year and she graciously stayed longer without demanding to be paid extra, to help clean up the ants around the dog dwelling areas for us. We are so thankful and immediately worked with Adam to have Sarah take care of our dogs again this week since we have the need again. We feel so lucky to have found this service through West Coast Paws. We spoke to 4 other “professionals” here on Thumbtacks and none was professional. The level of professionalism, responsiveness and value from West Coast Paws are hard to beat. We hope to continue working with them in the future.

Connected immediately with Adam and he paired me with the nicest guy to walk my miniature schnauzer. Harrison has been awesome. He’s been walking Mylo now for over 2 months and everything has been great. Harrison is very easy to contact and will always work around my needs and schedule. Great experience!!!

Our thumbtack discounted rates are as follows: For one dog or cat: -$18 per 15 minute visit -$23 per 30 min visit -$30 per 45 min visit -$37 per 60 min visit *$6 per additional pet (discount provided for multiple pets) -$90/night for overnight sitting, $25 per additional pet -$70 per night for in-home boarding, $25 per additional pet (discounts for multiple pets)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-We discuss details for services and set up a meet and greet with our local dog walker or pet sitter -After the meet and greet, the owner Adam reaches out to go over service details including scheduling and payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After being a pet sitting business owner and taking care of pets myself for 10+ years, I know to only hire genuine good people who love pets and what they do.
