Christian has been an incredible drum teacher for my son. From the very first lesson, they connected immediately. Instead of jumping straight into instruction, Christian took the time to really get to know my son, understand where he was at musically, and tailor the experience to fit his interests and goals. That personal connection made all the difference playing together on two drum sets in his well equipped studio. After just one lesson, my son came out genuinely inspired and excited to practice. In his words, “He made drumming fun in a way my other teachers have not before. And he showed me how to think about drumming in a way that will set me apart from my classmates at school.” Christian has introduced him to techniques he is very excited about, and brought a fresh perspective to music that immediately clicked for him. He’s also helping my son prepare for marching band next year. We are so very happy we made the switch from our previous lessons at a popular chain kids rock band school where the instructors constantly changed and there was no structure for progress. Christian is a wonderful teacher! His skill and enthusiasm for drumming is evident. As a 57yo woman, I'm taking drum lessons for the first time in my life.
