Introduction: *Fully vaccinated- Pfizer *Non-smoker *dedicated mom and community leader I love words and the English language, and truly enjoy helping others become better communicators through the written word and reading. This also includes ELA tutoring K-12, adults, ESL. I take pride in observing progress which results in feeling good about the work they're presenting to the world -- even if it's just a cover letter or resume. I also enjoy ESL students while they learn and feel more comfortable with the nuances of the English language. Previously, 2 of my client hires* were clients of regularity, almost on a weekly basis for a year and one a couple years. One client, I'm still in touch with out of state as we develop our screenplay. I enjoy people from all walks and backgrounds and always willing to help more people. Thank you in advance for the opportunity. In addition, I'm a solid editor and proofreader. I have a great eye for detail. I also assist with treatments, essays, blogs, website content and other general editing. I am open to doing limited admin. tasks as my background includes that, as well. Prior to tutoring, I spent 10+ years in the non-profit arena assisting Sr. V-Ps, managing special events, major gifts fundraising and donor and trustee relations. I'm comfortable in a variety of circles including the entertainment industry as a former thespian and a current, but striving to be normal, 'stage mom' to a professional young actor and aspiring filmmaker. On a more personal note and how I spend free time: enjoy amateur photography, film: especially the 1970's genre, wine tasting, WW II history, Ken Follett novels, and taking care of our 2 cats: Gandalf the Grey and Frodo.
