We booked Alex to photograph our 40th high school reunion and I would highly recommend him to anyone for their next event. Alex is a delight to work with, always smiling and very pleasant, and he has a great "can do" attitude. Alex took the time to meet with us in person before we had even hired him 3 weeks prior to our event and traveled to our our on site event location in Long Beach just to make sure of what the lighting and layout would be. On the day of our event, Alex arrived 2 hrs early just to set up his equipment and didn't even charge us extra for this. We provided Alex with a pretty extensive list of our schedule of events and the key shots we wanted, and he captured every one of those for us. Alex put extra care and attention to every detail of the photos, and with our large group photos he made sure that everyone could be seen and that everyone was smiling and looking at him at the same time. Alex did a great job capturing the candids we wanted too. Alex took a variety of shots from posed stills, to candids, to large groups, to small groups, and action shots like dancing and people greeting and hugging each other, and did a great job in all contexts. Alex always knew where to be and was always ready at just the right time. We also had hired a videographer for our event, and even the videographer praised Alex on what a great job he did and how Alex took extra care never to block the shots our videographer was filming. We are very happy with our end product photos, they turned out great and Alex edited over 300 photos for us to choose from. Alex also provided each of our 5 committee members with DVDs which had all of the photos he took that night in both high and low resolutions so we could put together a Photo Memory Book for our classmates of our reunion. Alex also set up for us a convenient link to a photo gallery website of our reunion event which provided all our classmates a way to directly order prints of their favorite individual shots in various sizes. Alex was also very prompt at responding to our emails, texts, and phone calls whenever we had questions, and was easy for us to reach. Alex overall is an exceptional professional, with reasonable pricing, with a great attitude, and I would definitely use him again for any of our next events!

I hired Alex to photograph my parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration, and I could not be more happy with his work. He was on time and stayed until everyone left the party. He was very friendly and fun to have around. Everyone loved him. He produced absolutely wonderful pictures - portraits, candids, and great shots of the venue/decoration. Just general guidelines
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get to know each other and discuss ideas, schedule etc. Imcheck out locations in advance and get well organized before wedding day with schedule, photo list etc. it’s very important to me that I know my clients in advance so that I can understand their personalities and take photos that reflect their personalities and style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You have to keep educating yourself about technology and get inspired to stay creative and always have fresh new ideas.
