As a photographer, I create photos that tell a story while having an exciting, cinematic feel. I enjoy shooting weddings, engagements, and proposals because they are so special! Capturing such a momentous day is very rewarding! I'm also very experienced in headshots as well as events, fashion, editorial, commercial and on-set photography.

Joe took our wedding photos in June and they were famtastic! He did a great job of taking both posed pictures that made us look our best and captured terrific candid shots. We were expecting just a few dozen photos and he took many more, which resulted in a lot of usable shots. He was also very easy to work with. All around, a great experience!

Joe captured candid and posed proposal photos July 2026. He was incredibly responsive in the days leading up to the event, going so far as to scout the location I selected using Google Maps and provide suggestions on which spots would lead to the best photos. On the day of, he was punctual, professional, and put both me and my fiancee at ease. We got access to the photos extremely quickly and had a difficult time choosing our favorites as there were so many great shots to choose from! Joe is the real deal, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. (Don't just take my word for it, though - one of our photographer friends saw the album and gave her seal of approval, too!)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on time. Travel time. Photography time. Editing time. All of that factors into my pricing. When it comes to headshots, lifestyle, and glamour, if we agree to a one-hour shoot then you can change your wardrobe as much as you want within that hour's time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on what type of job it is but normally I prefer a phone call at least to discuss what the client is looking for. Sometimes a formal face to face meeting is valuable in order for my client to get a feel for me and vice versa. Being relaxed and comfortable are two things that help make great photos.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience. The more you shoot the better you get. I've had a camera in my hand since I was a kid so I might not know all the technical aspects of photography, but I can assure you have a great eye and I know how to talk to my subjects to get them relaxed and confident in front of the camera.
