Absolutely ruined my brother’s surprise engagement party. Every single photo we received, including the raw files was a disaster. Blurry shots, no focus, crooked angles, bad lighting, and zero consistency. The edited versions looked like they were run through Picsart or a phone app, with no real retouching involved. We hoped the raw files could be salvaged by another editor, but the quality was too poor to work with. I work with real professionals regularly, and the camera settings (which are visible in the file data) made it clear this wasn’t professional work. Honestly, my dad’s phone captured better photos, no exaggeration. I would share examples, but I’m respecting everyone’s privacy. The highlight video was clearer, but even that was ruined by an outdated filter instead of proper post-editing. No refund offered, no accountability, and charging professional rates for below-amateur results is just unfair. There was also zero direction during the event, no organizing guests, no guiding group shots. People were left awkwardly standing around while we figured it out ourselves. We expected at least basic coordination, but it felt completely unplanned. Lesson learned: Always ask to see full and assistant samples of both photo and video work before booking. Don’t make the same mistake we did, this was a total waste of money and, worse, a memory we can’t get back. We’re very disappointed. To be clear, this isn’t a personal attack. I’m sure he’s a nice person and was cooperative when booking, but the service didn’t match what was promised and definitely didn’t justify the cost.
