I was concerned about bed bugs and Howard relieved my anxiety. He was flexible with scheduling, right on time and thoroughly inspected my apartment in a reasonable amount of time. Howard is a really nice guy who seems to be very honost and fair. I recommend him.

Howard was wonderful. We had lots of Ants and some scheduling issues figuring out where to go with 2 little girls since we had to be out of the house after Howard sprayed. He was very accommodating with our schedule. We still saw ants a few days later and Howard was back!! And so far no Ants. We will continue to use this company. His pricing plus his guarantee is the best!!!

Howard with Five Star Pest control was incredibly efficient and genuinely kind. After a bed bug issue in my apartment became all too clear, I found Howard on Thumbtack and he extensively walked me through the process of preparation for fumigation. Howard stopped by at my home for the initial visit and I saw significant improvement in decline of bugs. He phoned me several time to check in on me and inquire about the status of my dilemma. After two weeks, he came by again for a follow-up and it's now been over 20 days with NO bed bugs! Thanks to Howard and Five Star Pest Control not only for a successful fumigation but for exceptional service!! I can't stress enough how grateful I am for the service during this stressful experience. Thanks to Thumbtack for introducing me to Five Star Pest Control. Some rodents penetrated in my basement, damaging my kitchen faucet pipes and air ducts. Howard immediately responded with a quote. He came to the house to inspect, found the flaw, sealed what needed to be sealed, set up mouse traps and returned to the house to inspect again. Howard is very friendly, honest and reliable. I'd recommend him to friends and family.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    The Department of Consumer Affairs has regulations for continuing education requirements. If you do not fulfill the mandatory hours you will forfeit your license.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    Finally catching a very clever rodent who avoided traps and glue boards but after a week of patience we finally trapped the rodent in a HAVE A HEART live animal trap. We relocated the rodent to the Griffith Park mountains.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Make sure who you hire in the Pest Control Industry is licensed by the State of California Structural Pest Control Board and uses pesticides registered for use with the EPA.
