Drawing professor at CSU Long Beach, with a background in classical painting, teaches private oil painting and drawing lessons from her art studio.
As a classically trained artist my teaching methods are rooted in Foundational Techniques of the masters. Students will learn the necessary tools to draw and paint accurately.
Private lessons will consist of drawing and painting from life or an image of your choice. Techniques that we will cover will include composition, color theory, color mixing, sighting & measuring tools, and techniques for how to observe and record life-like realism.

Talia did an amazing job. If you're looking for a face painter, look ð NO Further. She was punctual, very friendly and fun. What the kids/adults liked the most was her ability to create their designs. She is very creative and does very beautiful artwork. If you don't hire you would be making a mistake. I'm not one to write reviews unless the work exceed my expectations, Talia went above and beyond. Will hire again soon.

Thalia was amazing. She was patient with the kids and her designs were some of the best I'd ever seen. She even brought her own book for kids to choose from. She kept in contact before the event and was flexible when we made changes. Love her work and will definitely save her #.

She was very easy to work with and very good with children, of all ages. She was prompt in her time of arrival and did an excellent job of face painting all the kids!! I will definitely hire her again for my next party!!
