Introduction: I didn't get into this business to pressure people with slick sales techniques. I offer my clients a unique process of putting strategy before products, and auditing existing financial plans to save clients money on fees and optimize returns. I succeed only when my clients do. Few Americans learn the fundamentals of saving and investing growing up. Personal Finance isn't taught in school--even business school, to my surprise. It takes a massive amount of continuing education and research to stay current in a dynamic global economy, and most people do not have the time or inclination to keep up. I enjoy distilling valuable knowledge from the firehose of daily financial information so my clients don't have to. I work with busy professionals who trust and value my expertise. There is also an art to consulting people of all backgrounds and personalities. Clients bring their past experiences into the planning conversation, and that often adds an additional set of challenges. I have always been a 'people person' and I enjoy helping clients make crucial life decisions. Since my relationship with most clients endures for decades, I'm there to see our strategies through. I have watched clients become model providers for their families and respected leaders in business and philanthropy. There's nothing more fulfilling than the realization of financial freedom that a client envisioned during the planning stages.
